Academic Skills Advice and Support
Our Academic Skills Librarian, Ellie, is happy to arrange one-to-one sessions on any topic for Hughes Hall students with specific queries or for those who would benefit from an individual session. You can reach her on firstname.lastname@example.org, or drop by the Library Office.
Ellie also hosts weekly drop-in academic skills ‘surgeries’ during term time on Tuesdays 12:30-1:30 pm in Seminar Room B. Feel free to stop by to ask a question, get some feedback, or just do some work!
Upcoming Academic Skills Sessions
During Michaelmas Term 2022, Ellie will be offering training sessions on working with your supervisor (for incoming undergraduates), using the library catalogue to find reading materials, discovering resources on a topic, and a four-part mini-series on time management. You can find more details and sign up through the college academic skills events page Academic Skills Events – Hughes Hall.
