Cambridge University and Hughes Hall each have distinctive roles during the student journey. For everyone, regardless of degree, that journey starts with matriculation, the traditional pledge linked with formal membership of Hughes Hall and Cambridge University. At the end of the course, there is the celebration of success with graduation or completion.
There are three parts to this section of the website:
- Academic – information about everything from matriculation to graduation, with guidance on examinations, funding and prizes, and more.
- Practical – guidance on preparation and arrival, maintenance and housekeeping, fees and charges, and a host of additional practical information.
- Welfare – the College’s wide-ranging welfare provision; find out more about COVID guidance, tutors, nurse and counsellor, porters and security, and other aspects of our student support.
