College staff, fellows and other senior members have the expertise to help students navigate the practicalities and peculiarities of living and studying in Cambridge. We will help you find your way around the University structures, and provide advice on pastoral, personal and academic concerns. Cambridge University and Hughes Hall each have distinctive roles during the student journey. For everyone, regardless of degree, that journey starts with matriculation, the traditional pledge linked with formal membership of Hughes Hall and Cambridge University. At the end of the course, there is the celebration of success with graduation or completion.
