Governing Body Fellow, Director of Studies in Archaeology

Corinne’s research interests focus on developing digital approaches for understanding prehistoric landscapes.

Research projects include integrating important nineteenth century records of southern Brittany with survey and remote sensing data; exploring new airborne survey techniques for understanding prehistoric landscapes in Ireland and the spatial analysis of field walking results from Denmark. She has also recently undertaken parish-level mapping of Scotland’s population from the 18th Century to the present, contributing the digital mapping for a major book.

Corinne studied for a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge (1996), followed by an MPhil in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing (1997). Her PhD (2001) was on the use of GIS and visualisation techniques for understanding the Neolithic landscape of the area of Brittany around Carnac.

Corinne is currently Senior Teaching Associate with Cambridge Foundation Year.
