Quondam Fellow

Mrs Victoria Espley is Foundation Bursar at Warwick Schools Foundation, a charitable foundation comprising King’s High School, Warwick Preparatory School, Warwick School, Warwick Junior School and the Kingsley School.  In addition to delivering education to 3,000 pupils aged 3-18, the charity undertakes an extensive Community engagement programme delivering community activities to local children and adults across Warwickshire.

Victoria has held a number of voluntary roles within the education sector.  She is currently Chair of Local Governing Body at North Oxfordshire Academy, Banbury.  She has previously served as Chair of Local Governing Body at Coleridge Community College, Cambridge; Chair of Governors at St Luke’s School Cambridge; and Vice Chair of Governors at St Mary’s School, Cambridge.

After graduating in Economics and Finance, Victoria worked in Financial Services, leading a range of diverse teams across the globe.  Inspired by her voluntary roles within educational charities, she moved into the education sector, becoming Bursar at Westcott House, Hughes Hall, Cambridge and subsequently Warwick Schools Foundation.  Whilst at Cambridge, Victoria was Chair of the Bursars’ Committee General Purchasing Committee which oversaw procurement across the Cambridge Colleges.  She was also a Director of Meet Cambridge, the venue-finding service owned and managed by Cambridge Colleges.  She is particularly proud of her involvement with Chapter Zero; she worked closely with the organisation during its early days, becoming a Director from September 2020 to August 2021.

Victoria was elected as a Governing Body Fellow of Hughes Hall in October 2015, serving as Bursar from January 2016 until July 2021.  She became a Quondam Fellow in August 2021.
