Rupert is a widely experienced business person. He has a background in engineering (Cambridge) and finance (qualifying as both Chartered and Cost Accountant) and has worked for some of UK’s leading companies (oil and banking) before starting his own corporate finance consultancy.

He has also been entrepreneurial in setting up the venture capital arm of a major UK bank and being a key part of the management to turn round a listed Cambridge technology consultancy company. He started and was chair of the UK’s largest independent newspaper printer. He has been a mentor on the Ignite programme at Cambridge Judge Business School for over 10 years.
He was also Deputy Chairman of the leading UK family business network. He enjoys being involved in niche business areas and has been involved in such diverse areas as moving a business for the 2012 London Olympic Games and growing a business in a newly FSA (now FCA) regulated sector. He continues to seek growth values in entrepreneurially led businesses.
