Lent Term lunches

Hughes Hall President, Sir Laurie Bristow, and Senior Tutor, Dr Tori McKee, warmly invite our students to join them for lunch in College over the coming weeks.

Laurie and Tori are keen to meet with small groups of Hughes Hall students on a very informal basis during a series of relaxed lunchtime get-togethers in the dining hall, to chat about….whatever you’d like!

They would love to hear about your experiences of the College, any ideas you have for enriching our student services and welfare provision, or any frustrations you’ve had whilst getting to grips with being at Cambridge. Perhaps you have suggestions about how we run the College as a whole, about improving our ‘comms’ or events, about attracting new students, or perhaps you’d like to get more involved in College life. Would you like to hear more about being part of our senior membership, working in academia, or how our President and Senior Tutor ended up at Hughes Hall, and their experiences along the way. Or would you just like to put faces to the names that sign off the emails arriving each week in your inbox.

10 students are invited to each lunchtime get-together, and you can sign up, on a first come first served basis, here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_9rybhJbF-TrOMs1A1h–iRG0_dUFCtMwI0GXVRDaGE/edit.

No gowns, no photos, no agenda, no obligation, no fuss.
