Women in Science Research Showcase

Join us in celebrating ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’.

Four distinguished women scientists, from a variety of fields, will talk about their research and their path into science. The speakers include:
  •   Nancy Lane: Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge, Athena Project Chair and former WiSETI director
  •   Benedicte Sanson: Reader in Developmental Morphogenesis, University of Cambridge
  •   Maria Eugenia Herva Moyano: group leader in Neuroscience, Charles Rivers Laboratories
  •   Amita Ummadisingu: Cavendish Laboratory, Swiss National Science Foundation Fellow
Presentations will be followed by Q&A with the audience to address challenges and improvements around gender equality in the sciences.

This event is being organised by Hughes Hall Postdoctoral Researchers’ Group in collaboration with the Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK.
