Regular drop-in ‘surgeries’ for academic skills advice
Work better near others? Have questions about essay writing? Want to practice proper referencing?
Our Academic Skills Librarian, Ellie, will be hosting regular drop-in ‘surgeries’ during term time. These are an opportunity to ask questions, as well as to participate in structured study. Structured study involves setting a goal for a short period and working quietly alongside others, then discussing your progress in a group. It is a great way to maintain motivation and focus, keep yourself accountable, and encourage other students!
All Hughes students are welcome, no matter your level of study.
