Climate change is one of the most important challenges of our times and its effects are already reaching key thresholds that adversely impact upon sustainable development. The Centre for Climate Change Engagement aims to both work with boards and academics to inform and take steps to mitigate the effects of climate change.
Speaker and Guest of Honour is Russell Picot, Special Advisor to the Financial Stability Board’s Climate-related Financial Disclosures Task Force. He is a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership and an Honorary Professor in Durham University Business School. He chairs the Investor Practices Programme of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC).
