Life Fellow

Paul Siklos qualified in Medicine from Middlesex Hospital Medical School, University of London in 1972 and after training posts including Lecturer in Medicine in Cambridge was appointed Consultant Physician at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds in 1982. He continued his interest in undergraduate medical education and was appointed Associate Clinical Dean (University of Cambridge) in 1995, and was the Foundation Director of the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine (2000 – 2009). He received the Pilkington Prize (University of Cambridge) for teaching excellence in 2005. He also has an interest in postgraduate medical teaching, in particular teaching and presentation skills, co-founding the East Anglian Regional “Teach the Teachers to Teach”, and Royal College of Physicians (London) “Doctors as Educators” programmes. He became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2007.
