Governing Body Fellow, College Teaching Officer and Director of Studies for Mathematics
Dr Wells has spent all his academic career in Cambridge. After graduation and taking the Master of Mathematics degree, he studied for a PhD in the General Relativity and Gravitation group in DAMTP, completing a dissertation on the mathematical theory of Black Holes and Time Machines. Clive’s mathematical interests are wide-ranging, from Cosmology and Dynamics to coagulation theory and rainbows. Currently Clive is spending much of his spare time writing a book on Asymptotics.
