Some of the top medical minds in Cambridge joined students and alumni when Hughes Hall played host to the seventh annual Zimmern Medical Lecture and Dinner in College on Tuesday 10th November. Guest including the Regius Professor of Physic heard Professor Adrian Dixon, medical academic and Master of Peterhouse, give a talk on ‘The Inexorable growth of medical Imaging’. Professor Dixon stressed the many links between this vital and fast growing field and Hughes Hall, including references to the crucial role played by former Presidents Peter Richards and Desmond Hawkins, as well as outlining both the history and future of Radiography. At the dinner which followed, alumni, students, academics and medical professionals were treated to a fine meal and the opportunity to meet, network and relax. We are immensely grateful to Professor Dixon for giving such a well received and stimulating talk, and to Dr Ron Zimmern for his generous sponsorship of the event.
