Alumna and scholarship donor Gabrielle Sacconaghi Bacon delighted us when she came back to Hughes earlier this month to meet this year’s Gabrielle Sacconaghi Bacon Scholar, Yuan Yi Zhu.
She was pleased to see a door plaque has been installed– marking a student room in the Margaret Wileman building as the official Gabrielle Sacconaghi Bacon Scholar room, to accommodate the student who is awarded the one year scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to an applicant from Canada who has achieved academic excellence in International Relations and is wishing to study an MPhil in International Relations at Hughes Hall.
