We are delighted to announce the provision of a new scholarship for Law at Hughes Hall. This year will be the first year of the Patrick & Linda Yip Law Scholarship, made possible thanks to the generous support of alumnus Patrick Yip and his wife Linda.
‘My wife and I decided to set up the Patrick and Linda Yip Scholarship so that more people can benefit from the same quality educational experience that I received at Hughes Hall. I consider myself very fortunate that the college accepted me ten years ago, and have since been blessed with a rewarding career, in not insignificant part owing to my education at Hughes Hall.’
The Scholarship is for a single award of £2,500 per year, intended to help a fully or partially self-funded student who is offered membership at Hughes Hall for LLM or for PhD in the Faculty of Law (or another department if their topic is sufficiently law-related), with preference for those who have named Hughes Hall as their first choice college.
