Halloween was more than a night for ghosts and ghouls – it was a night to celebrate an outstanding contribution to the sporting life of our College. Four members of the 1987 Boat Crew, Quentin Fontana, Peter Jackson, Geoffrey Hine and Stephen Powell joined us to name the four ERGs (Rowing machines, for the non rowers amongst us) their crew has sponsored. From now on our rowers will be able to train on the Golden Hine, Loftus Rowed, Greg Dean and Sinister Owl. As well as the ’87 crew, members of the current boat club and Jeff Cook of the ’83 crew joined us for a champagne reception and dinner in Hall. Our sincere thanks to Quentin, Peter, Geoff and Stephen.
