About the Centre
Climate change is one of the most important challenges of this century. Recent scientific reports indicate that tremendous change is needed if we are to have any chance of reducing emissions to the extent needed to avoid catastrophic climate breakdown.

One of the Hughes Hall Bridge Centres, the Centre for Climate Change Engagement (CCCE) works to engage the corporate and financial sectors at the highest level as well as academics and government. The Centre encourages scholarship in legal, regulatory, financial and other levers to enable the scaling up of action.

This event is part of a series supported by The Bridge, the Hughes Hall initiative for linking academic strengths with wider challenges and opportunities.  www.hughes.cam.ac.uk/the-bridge/ccce
