School Design Study Group: Outdoor Learning Experiences as a Garden of Delights

Wednesday 8th May and Wednesday 22nd May

Hughes Hall is proud to be collaborating with the Faculty of Education and Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge as the SDSG continues its second year of exciting events.

This term our theme will be Alternatives to in-classroom education, picking up on outdoor and open-air schooling as well as the design of school gardens and forests.

The School Design Study Group (SDSG) creates a space for educationalists, spatial practitioners, academics and students to engage in discussion, test theories, share ideas and learn about school design in an interdisciplinary environment. It operates though a variety of formats, including invited guest speakers, reading sessions and site visits.
