This module is designed for students with little or no previous experiencing of referencing. Topics include:
- What is referencing?
- Good academic practice
- What needs to be referenced, and what doesn’t?
- Practicalities of referencing: in-text citations and reference lists
- An introduction to different referencing styles
The sessions will be delivered in-person in Seminar Room A and online via Zoom. You are welcome to join without registering, but if you would like to receive Zoom details and teaching materials before the session please register at Referencing: Essentials.
This session is open to all Hughes Hall students. Please come to whichever time is most convenient for you.
