Schumann’s passionate Adagio and Allegro and Beethoven’s Sonata No. 4 in C will be framed by Minna Keal’s early Ballade and Wavesongs, a little known but wonderfully haunting evocation of the sea written by British composer Gordon Crosse in 1983.
