Little Owls Family Club Event

Saturday 13 May, 11.00 am to noon, Dining Hall, followed by interactive session in the Peter Richards Rm

Join the ‘Little Owls Club’  for an informal, sociable brunch in the Dining Hall, followed by an interactive session with ‘Animal-Club.’

Animal-Club provides exciting animal handling workshops. The presenter-led shows are a wonderful experience where children  (of all ages) and adults can look, touch and ask questions about the animals brought along.

The presenters have a large range of animals that they are the experts on. Some are cuddly, some unusual and certainly all are very interesting. Each animal will be introduced to our group in a way that is stress-free for the animal and also educational and fun. All of the animals are pets. Hence, most of our animals can be handled during each session.

Expect to meet some of the following:

  • Corn Snake
  • Royal Python
  • Reticulated Python
  • Gargoyle Gecko
  • Crested Gecko
  • Red Iguana
  • Scorpion
  • Fancy Mice
  • Tarantula
  • Honduran Milk Snake
  • A fluffy rabbit

This is a great opportunity to connect with other Hughes Hall college members who have families, or caring responsibilities for children.
