Hughes Hall Research Symposium

We are delighted to invite you to our very first Hughes Hall Research Symposium 2018, which will take place on March 5, 2018, 4pm-7pm, in the Peter Richard’s Room of the Fenner’s building, Hughes Hall.

It is open to all students at Hughes with a research interest within the life sciences, regardless of degree level (undergraduate, Master’s, PhD). This includes students who are based in departments outside the Faculty of Biology but conduct interdisciplinary research with aspects relevant to biology, such as bioengineering or public health.

You are encouraged to present your life science research, share your passion for your subject and its significance with a broad audience, in the form of posters or oral presentations. Attendance is free of charge, but requires an Eventbrite ticket (see link below) – this includes a free formal dinner exclusive to all participants, to conclude the day in true Cambridge terms.

We are now accepting abstract submissions for both posters and presentations. Please email ss2472@cam.ac.uk for abstract submissions and any questions. The deadline is the 11 February, 5 pm. Even if you intend to present, please also register a ticket via Eventbrite for yourself.

We are looking forward to your responses and the day.
