Hughes Hall Centre for Climate Change Engagement (HHCCCE)

The HHCCCE was established to support companies to move towards a carbon neutral future, in particular their Boards and non-executive directors.  Since its formal inception in August 2019 it has made significant progress in drawing in corporate interest to tackle the climate challenge.  The Centre already holds a unique position in the corporate community, nationally through its facilitation of Chapter Zero and internationally as Secretariat to the Climate Governance Initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF). It is likewise a key component of the Climate Change ecosystem within the wider University. The College anticipates that law and economics will be a particular focus for the Centre.

The Centre invites Hughes Hall members interested in climate change and environmental sustainability to join them for an informal discussion on their endeavours to date as well as their plans for the immediate future.  This will take the form of an online event for Hughes Hall members on Tuesday 24th November from 6.00-7.00 pm

The event will be free and there will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion.  To register, click here
