The Doctoral Network is made up of Hughes Hall PhD students and postdoctoral researchers and is an opportunity for the College’s junior research community to come together in a relaxed environment. The group meets once a month for discussions, presentations, and general chat.
This month, we will be joined by Diane Caldwell-Hird from the University’s Career Service. She will give a presentation on careers outside of academia, including job searching, applications and more. This is a great opportunity to hear about what it’s like to start out working in industry, so come along no matter what stage of your PhD you’re at.
