Beyond MTV & Bob the Builder

Beyond MTV & Bob the Builder: the journey from rock’n’roll to social impact, Thursday 12th October 2017, 7-9.30 pm, Pfeiffer Room

* Can a business make money and do good at the same time? * Is a mission-based, for-profit business model viable? * How is the social impact sector evolving in the UK? * What are the career paths on the investment and operating sides?

The HHES first speaker for the new academic year is Bruce Steinberg, CEO, Big White Wall (www.bigwhitewall.com).

A Cambridge alumnus, Bruce has had a successful career in broadcasting and digital media. He has helped start-up, grow and transform a huge variety of businesses. Beginning his career at MTV in the USA, he is now at the forefront of the evolving social impact business model.

Come and hear Bruce’s story and learn how a focus on social impact is evolving and driving a new type of business model – and business person.

A Hughes Hall Enterprise Society/Business Subject Area event, but open to anyone with an interest in this subject.

The poster is available here.
