Hughes Hall Research Associate – Lung Cancer Research Breakthrough

A study in Nature Communications, authored by Hughes Hall Research Associate, Dr. Kyren Lazarus and colleagues has identified a key molecular player in a subtype of lung cancer which could lead to a new targeted lung cancer treatment. Dr. Lazarus is a postdoc in the Department of Pharmacology in Cambridge, working with Dr Walid Khaled. His future work aims understand the role BCL11A plays in lung squamous cancer using elegant mouse models and novel single cell RNA sequencing techniques.
