Anna-Joy Rickard is an international development professional and has worked for a decade creating opportunities for young people across the world and in the UK. This has included supporting schools in Africa and Latin America to teach entrepreneurship, campaigning on behalf of trafficked children and working with UK young people living in homes with drug and alcohol misuse. She is currently working with East African and Latin American partners on innovative education and social enterprise with an exciting charity called Teach A Man To Fish and was previously Director of the Centre for Global Equality in Cambridge. She is an elected local councillor in the London Borough of Hackney and a school governor. Anna-Joy supports students at Hughes Hall to connect into opportunities within international development and the charity sector more widely.
