Neo Boon Siong acknowledged as a top performer in the Chemical Engineering Tripos

Hughesian Neo Boon Siong has received the prestigious BP prize from the Cambridge Chemical Engineering Department, part of the BP prize scheme recognising top performers in the Tripos.

Boon Siong had spent the past academic year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts as part of the Cambridge-MIT Exchange Programme. During the year-long exchange programme, he was required to take Chemical Engineering classes covering the same material as Part I of the Chemical Engineering Tripos. In addition, he had the flexibility to attend other classes in the MIT curriculum, and made full use of this by taking classes in computational science and further mathematics. He obtained a GPA of 5.0 for the year, which qualified him for the award.

Congratulations on an outstanding achievement.
