Centre Rory Triniman scored a late try, following a superb cross field kick by fellow Hughesian Fraser Gillies, to bring victory to the Light Blues in Thursday’s Varsity Match. Fraser then made the difficult conversion to give Cambridge a 23-13 lead, and despite a try at the death by Oxford it was enough to win the Varsity Match after a 6 year losing streak (final score 23-18).
