On Monday the 8th of June Demetrius Floudas, Senior Member of Hughes Hall spoke on the Greek crisis, examining the significance and facts behind the headlines.
Around 40 people attended to hear Demetrius give an understandable overview of the current state of the Greek crisis as well as provide his analysis on a number of issues, based on analytical prediction models along with his own experience from his observations of the political undercurrent in Greece.
We received some great feedback from some of the attendees at the event, mentioning that this fascinating lecture managed to ‘explain all the minutiae without losing the broader picture’.
