Translation Squared – Exploring Translation Across Contexts

  • How do researchers translate academic work into practice-facing work?
  • What are the key aspects of language and cultural translation in an academic context?
  • How do researchers and translators work together to produce material for global contexts?

Come and find out more about the interdisciplinary elements of translation, where work is translated between languages and cultures but also from the academic- to practice-facing. This enlightening evening is led by Laura Kerslake and Sarah Rimmington who will discuss these elements of translation with reference to their work within education research. They highlight key opportunities and challenges for collaborative translation across contexts.

The evening will include talks, discussion and buffet/drinks.
