Stradivari Trust Concert Series: Mariangela Vacatello

College members are invited to the first concert in the 2019/20 Stradivari Concert Series.
Mariangela Vacatello, the renowned pianist, will be performing an hour long concert, to include:
Beethoven: Piano sonata op. 27 no. 2 ‘Moonlight’
Chopin: Nocturne op. 27 no.2 in E flat major
Chopin: Piano sonata op. 58 no. 3

Mariangela  Vacatello was born in Naples into a family of musicians who introduced her to music at the age of four. Her talent was developed by studies at Imola Piano Academy, Milan Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she was awarded the Hodson Fellowship and has been nominated ARAM.

Mariangela is recognised worldwide as an exceptionally gifted artist, reflected in the numerous awards and effusive reviews she has received for both her live performances and her recordings for Brilliant Classics.

Mariangela currently lives in Umbria and is a sought-after Piano Professor at the ‘A. Boito’ Music Conservatory in Parma.
