College members are invited to the next concert in the Stradivari Concert Series at Hughes Hall on Wednesday 7th March.
The Gildas Quartet featuring Christopher Jones, will be performing a programme of:
- Revel: String Quartet in F major
- Schubert: Death and the Maiden
Originally from London, Ontario, Christopher studied music in Canada before taking up a scholarship at The Royal Northern College of Music with Pavel Fischer and Leland Chen. Currently leader of the acclaimed Gildas Quartet, Christopher also plays regularly with the London Musical Arts Orchestra at St Martin-in-the Fields. He will be accompanied by Charris Hanning of the Jacquin Trio on piano.
