Attending an Open Day is one of the best ways to get a feel for the College – both academically and socially. We have two Open Days coming up and all prospective students are welcome to attend.
Our Open Days this year (6th and 7th) coincide with the University-wide Open Days this summer. This is a great opportunity to see colleges and departments across the University, so you can gain an overview of the possibilities here. The days provide an chance to see our beautiful grounds and buildings, as well as the departments across the University. Hughes has a reputation for providing a welcoming summer open day, with an opportunity to hear a lot about the College, meet with the Admission tutors and ask them any questions you may have, a chance to taste the great food our College Chefs whip up and then take a student-led tour which provides a great insight into College Life from a current student’s perspective.
Upcoming College Open Days:
Thursday 6 July 2017: Drop-in Day
No need to book, just drop-in between 9.30 am and 4.30pm to have a look at the College and chat to Admissions staff and current students.
Friday 7 July 2017: Lunch and Tour (11.30am – 2pm)
Buffet lunch with Directors of Studies and Admissions Tutors, followed by a tour of the College with current students (booking required).
Guests are very welcome to drop-in between 2pm and 4pm to meet with Admissions staff and current students, though the availability of Directors of Studies will be limited between these times.
