The LLM at Hughes Hall
The Application Process
After your application has been accepted by the Faculty of Law you will be considered for membership of one of the Cambridge Colleges. All LLM students must be members of a College. Unfortunately, most Colleges offer few places to LLM students and applications of those not accepted by their chosen Colleges often face delays. Hughes Hall offers places to significantly more LLM students than any other College. We are also committed to providing prompt decisions as to membership of the College so you can have greater time in which to arrange your arrival at Cambridge. Further information on the application process can be found at the Board of Graduate Studies.
Special Provision for LLM Students
Each year we are delighted to welcome a large community of LLM students. Along with our law Fellows, a dedicated Director of Studies facilitates social cohesion and promotes integration into the College, the Faculty of Law and the wider legal community. With graduates forming the majority of students, LLM students will find the environment particularly supportive.
William Charnley Law Scholarships
We are pleased to offer two annual William Charnley Law Scholarships to students who name Hughes Hall as their first choice of College on the Application Form.
Hughes Hall Graduate Law Society
The Hughes Hall Graduate Law Society helps establish and develop personal and professional ties between law alumni of the College.
